Seminars with Directo, ECR, Estonian Trade Association and BCS Itera
In the second half of 2015, Telema co-organized several events promoting EDI and/or e-invoicing. More than 1000 Baltic business executives participating in those events are now better informed about the benefits of IT solutions.
In August Telema and our Certified Partner Directo invited small and medium sized Lithuanian companies to the seminar in Vilnius, explaining EDI and easy software integration. 30 participants acquired valuable information to make their business processes much more efficient.
Four occasions were tied to ECR Baltic. On September 3rd, Telema representatives were presenting at the Collaborative Supply Chain seminar at Riga Food Fair to present ECR VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Guide Book. The guidebook has been developed under the leadership of Hele Hammer, our CEO representing Tallinn University of Technology, and in cooperation with European ECR members (15 countries). The same topic was introduced to ECR Russia association members on October 13. At the Collaboration Conference of Tallinn Food Fair on October 31, visibility in the supply chain was discussed. At the ECR Baltic Forum on November 12, Hele Hammer presented the Status of VMI in Baltics.
Collaboration in the supply chain was the main theme of Telema’s presentations at Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day on October 6, as well as at the Inspiration Conference for Estonian executives organized by BCS Itera on November 11. November 26 took Telema team to educate the educators at the Annual Conference of Finance Teachers.

eInvoicing means updates in Telema EDI Modules
The urgency of e-invoicing implementation in Estonia has led IT-support companies to discuss whether the ERP software they support is ready for the change. On November 4, 2015 Telema invited its IT-partners to a seminar introducing new technical requirements.
For smooth roaming of e-invoices, partners need to adjust the compilation of electronic sales invoice:
- Receiver registry code and country code should be added to invoice header;
- Payment information should be composed into a new separate block:
- Invcoice in pdf format should be added to XML .
Another update needed in EDI modules is related to Telema new popular product Telema eFlow. To help customers with easy Telema eFlow implementation, Certified Partners need to add to Telema EDI Module two new document types: ENTREC (purchase invoice with cost allocation data) and APERAK (acknowledgement message from ERP). All required changes and updates are reflected in Telema eDoc new version 3.0.0. The release candidate detailed information is here.
